What We Collect

We collect only what's necessary to run the product:

• Email address — when you sign up or sign in, to identify your account and verify your subscription
• Chat messages — stored temporarily in your browser's local storage on your device only. We do not store your conversations on our servers.
• Device fingerprint — a privacy-friendly identifier used to track free message usage without requiring account creation
• Subscription and payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We receive only your email and subscription status. We never see or store your card details.
• Usage data — message counts and voice play counts stored locally on your device

What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not store your chat history on our servers
• We do not record, store, or retain your voice audio
• We do not sell your data to third parties — ever
• We do not use your conversations to train AI models
• We do not serve ads or share data with advertisers
• We do not track you across other websites

Voice & Audio Data

When you use voice features, your text is converted to audio by ElevenLabs. We have enabled the following privacy protections:

Voice input (speech-to-text) is processed by your browser's built-in Web Speech API. This data is handled by your browser and device and is not sent to our servers.

Cookies & Local Storage

Sassy AI uses your browser's local storage (not traditional cookies) to store:

• Your email address and subscription status
• Message and voice usage counts
• Chat history (stored on your device only — never sent to our servers)
• Your voice and display preferences

You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for sassybeetch.com.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
• Opt-out — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time
• Portability — request your data in a portable format

Data Retention

• Chat history — stored on your device only. Cleared when you clear browser data or start a new chat.
• Account data — retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request.
• Voice audio — immediately deleted after generation (zero retention mode enabled).
• Payment records — retained by Stripe as required by law.

Children's Privacy

Sassy AI is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately at hello@sassybeetch.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Sassy AI after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
